This weekend me and two other friends swam in a sponsored swim for the Caterham Lions, I raised £100 of sponsorship which is a massive help towards my fundraising goal. I would also like to give a massive thankyou to the roar-some volunteers that organised and participated in the swimathon.
My friends and I managed to swim 46 lengths in 25 minutes, and we are incredibly proud of ourselves. I have never raised money like this before and so far, it has been a great experience.
I met many other groups who benefit from the great fundraising work the Lions do. I am hoping to enter even more teams next year. We had fun and learned how hard it can be to fundraise.
