On the Sunday of the Jubilee weekend, Ed, Dannielle (in place of Shannon) and I ran a stall on the Westerham green selling teas and coffees for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. At first the day was very cold and grey, but it soon brightened up and we managed to sell a lot of cakes and teas. There was a local singer who led the way singing old fashioned songs some I even knew! It was lovely to see so many people out celebrating. I really enjoyed the strawberries and cream that the Sea Cadets were selling next to us.
Maia was a Scout at the 16th Ide Hill Scouts, and since applying for the Jamboree has joined the Beaufighters Explorer Scout Unit in Edenbridge as well as becoming a Young Leader at the 12th Edenbridge.
