On Sunday I gave a speech in a local church detailing what I am doing for the World Scout Jamboree.
I have planned a sponsored walk where the youth group I attend is going to assist me in walking around Bewl Water which is 12.5 miles long. All their sponsorship money raised will go to Sevenoaks Welcomes Refugees and any money I raise will go towards funding my trip. I am proud of helping to set this up and raise money for such good causes.
I was anxious when giving the speech to the entire congregation, but afterward I felt amazing and we received many sponsors for the walk I am planning.
