This weekend I held a stall at the Edenbridge fete in the scout hut with Shannon (another participant of WSJ) raising money for our trips. I sold homemade card-kits, sweet cones and games and I am feeling much more positive now about reaching my end goal. I set my tuck shop up next to my stall in the shade, however as the day went on, we had to move the shop down towards the entrance to keep the sun off. It was a blessing in disguise because it meant that I was able to talk to passers-by about WSJ. A few people were part of the scouting movement and had amazing ideas for me of what I may also be able to do at the next fundraiser. I am looking forward to my next project!
