The end of November 2021 saw our World Scout Jamboree Selection weekend for the 25th WSJ in South Korea in 2023. A record number of Scouts and Explorers applied to be considered, 55, which made the selection of just 7 (originally 6) to join the Kent Contingent extremely difficult with so many amazing candidates!
We are happy to announce that the following young people were selected! Benjamin S, Laura H, Maia M, Lily E, Shannon M, Aiden R, and Edward P. You can find out more about them on the participants’ webpage.
Congratulations also go to Rob Francis, Beaufighters Explorer Scout Leader. who has been selected as a deputy unit leader for the Kent Contingent. We hope that February will bring news of more Sevenoaks Adults attending the Jamboree as members of the International Service Team.
