This weekend saw the Selection Event for Sevenoaks Scouts applying to attend the World Scout Jamboree! Over 50 Young People took part in the weekend, undertaking a number of team building activities from cooking, to playing The Floor is Lava.
On Saturday evening applicants also got the chance to have some downtime and take part in a Silent Disco using Sevenoaks Districts new Silent Disco Equipment, as well as a Campfire.
Only 6 of these applicants will be able to attend the World Scout Jamboree in South Korea in 2023, and with so many excellent applicants during the weekend the Selection Committee will be left with one of the most difficult selection decisions in recent years.
